In the field of food service, there are several different positions for the work flow. Waiters take the orders from customers. Cooks prepare the food and servers bring the food the appropriate tables. Managers make sure all operations run smoothly. Drivers help to deliver food products to different businesses.
The minimum education requirements for most food service positions is either a high school diploma or no high school diploma, but being able to show skills in the desired position. No matter the position, there are a number of skills that are going to be required. The main skills that are needed are a great personality, an ability to learn fast, cashiering, organization, telephone etiquette, being able to work in a fast paced environment, and having an open schedule.
