When working in a warehouse there are a lot of daily operations that must be handled with care. Warehouse workers are in charge of putting together items that have been requested by businesses, packaging those items, and moving the packages to the designated areas. They will also work as a team to keep track of stock, when to order supplies, keeping the areas clean and safe, and building daily reports of work completed.

What to Expect When Interviewing

Warehouse workers must have at least a high school diploma and a bachelor’s for managerial positions. There are several skills that are needed for any position in this field. Many of these skills include being able to work as a team, organization, time management, checking inventory, skills with data entry, being able to work long hours, stamina, being able to lift heavy items, planning, problem solving, data entry, and excellent written skills.
