Officially founded under the Brown Telephone Company in 1899, Sprint was officially renamed in 1983 after many acquisitions and reorganizations. With a variety of affiliations and mergers, Sprint is the United States third largest long distance provider. Trying to convey the simplicity of great service, they've used the President & CEO, Dan Hesse, in all of their commercials since 2007.
