Project managers are in charge the planning and implementation of various projects. To start, they make sure the project is defined in detail and the necessary goals are set. A project manager will then lay the plan out and start to assign the necessary people to ensure that each level of that plan can be handled. They are responsible for making sure the project is completed without any problems.
Depending on the company the education requirements can stretch from just a high school diploma, to needing a bachelor’s degree. Either way, on-the-job experience is required. Because of the detailed job requirements, it is absolutely essential to have skills in budgeting, organizing, planning, scheduling, leadership, time management, and customer service. This type of work involves dealing with customers and employees, so being able to work well with all types of people is important.
