Part time workers are employees who will be working less than 35 hours, in most states. Depending on the business, part time workers will be in place to help take some of the load off of full time workers. Delivery drivers often have part time workers who will assists in delivering packages on routes. Retail employees, who are part time, will usually handle working the register or helping with putting out stock.
There are no educational requirements that are absolutely necessary for gaining a position as a part time worker. Showing competency for the desired position is important though. With having various types of businesses that can use part time workers, having skills in schedule flexibility, organization, multitasking, great customer interaction, and problem solving, are going to be very useful and seen as a definite positive.
