As a nurse, there are several job duties that are performed every day. Treating patients both physically and mentally is part of the process. While giving treatments to patients, it is also necessary to ease their worries over specific treatments, and procedures they may need. Nurses also work with doctors in seeing to the care of patients and handling the majority of the paperwork that comes with treating each patient.
The educational requirements for a nurse are a bit lengthy. It will require a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in nursing. Another option is an associate’s degree with a concentration in nursing. All required examinations after gaining a degree will need to be passed with a high percentage rate. It will be necessary to work with patients on a daily basis so having a positive disposition, organizational skills, team player attitude, and an ability to react quickly to multiple situations is a plus.
