As a housekeeper, the main job detail is to be efficiently organized. Whether it is working individually or through a company, there are certain standards that have to be set forth. Managing time and making sure all cleaning and organizing is finished within a certain amount of time. There is usually a set schedule to keep and the facilities range from corporate buildings and hotels to privately owned homes.
A high school diploma is not necessary for this type of work but it is a plus for gaining an advantage towards this position. A neat and clean appearance as well as having a friendly personality is essential, especially when cleaning with the presence of others. Being able to stick to a schedule and complete all the necessary work within a timeframe is an important part of the time management requirement.
