HolidayInn started with a single motel by Kemmons Wilson, after he received dismal service by other roadside motels at the time. Since then and joined with partner Wallace E. Johnson to create what is now one of the world’s largest hotel chains, with over 100 million guests each night. With affordable, clean and family friendly properties, HolidayInn is one of the largest employers in hospitality to day.
Depending on whether the location is corporate or franchised, the application process may be slightly different. Typically, applications can be filled out on location and management will call to set up a phone or in-person interview, or both. As most positions deal with customer service, a good attitude, confidence and previous experience with customer experience is always beneficial. Additionally, potential employers may ask a series of questions to evaluate team management, customer service and conflict resolution.
