Goodwill has an abundance of positions and job duties. Store managers make sure that the stores are running effective in all aspects. Assistant managers are there to ensure that employees know the set goals and are working towards those goals. The clerk processor is basically the cashier who collects money for purchased items. Donation attendants take in the donations and sort them correctly.
Because there are various positions that are available, the educational requirements can range from just a high school diploma for associate level jobs, to a bachelor’s degree for manager level positions. Any experience working in retail is a plus because the skills needed for a lot of the positions are a good personality, able to work with all types of customers, organization, ability to multitask, ability to lift heavy objects, and being able to work a sporadic schedule.
