Founded in 1980 by TJ and Bill Palmer, Applebee’s quickly became a huge chain of company owned and franchised restaurants. From 1993 to 2005, Applebee’s added 100 or more new stores each year and foresees at least 3,000 locations in United States alone. When IHOP and Applebee’s merged in 2007, they, together, became the largest full service restaurant company in the world, with over 3,250 locations combined.
As most of Applebee’s positions are servers, cooks, hosts and are within the restaurant’s walls, applications and interviews are likely similar to the other generic interviews you’ve experienced before.
